Default Halloween rocket for 2024

As most of you probably know, The Vixen and I quite often collaborate on a Halloween themed Astron Spaceman.
For 2024 we're doing it a little different: instead of the regular spaceman head, I epoxied a length of JT-20 coupler to a ping pong ball to serve as the head.

I've scratch built an Astron Spaceman from body tubes and 1/16th inch basswood and the Vixen and I now have a blank canvas. The only thing we DO know so far is that there will be orange paint involved.

Hmmm. Maybe the presidential candidate of your choosing. But with orange paint involved, that kinda definitely points to one candidate in particular. Then again, maybe a Kamala with orange hair might be pretty funny too!

Oh, ok. Well, your opening post seemed to indicate that the only thing you had settled on was that it would involve orange paint. I thought you were soliciting suggestions.

Halloween was always my favorite holiday as a kid. Looking forward to seeing what you guys come up with.

Man, I am craving some candy corn! :-)

Naa, just a pumpkin. I forgot that the general election is ironically close to Halloween.

It is a sippie cup from Dollar Tree. I also used basswood for the "fins", and cut the head around the "stitches" so it separates there, and use the head as the parachute compartment.
