Dumb Blackhawk question.
Is the Estes Blackhawk similar ENOUGH to the Centuri Buck Rogers Starfighter that if I paint the Blackhawk white the Starfighter?s decals will lay in correctly?
I DO know that there?s internal differences between the two models. The main one is that the Starfighter?s recovery comes out the back and the Blackhawk?s recovery comes out the front of one of the main body tubes by means of crossover ejection ducting.

Jeffy-
My answer to your question is "Yes" although some may disagree. GH

The biggest external difference between the Blackhawk and the Buck Rogers Starfighter is that the Blackhawk uses BT-50 tubing (.976") and the Starfighter uses ST-8 (.908") in their corresponding tubes. The Buck Rogers decals should work on the Blackhawk without any problem. I would not notice the difference unless you had both the Centuri and Estes kits side by side.
