Length of BT-55E ??
Building a Space Station Aquarius clone but can't find the length of the BT-55E specified in the kit. It's newer than any of the tubes in the '74 'Special Order' catalog and by the time the kit came out Estes was only selling 18" tubes in the catalog.
So, any got a model or kit to measure, or even just know the answer off the top of your head? :-) Thanks.

I can't account for the part numbering practices at Semroc/eRockets, but I can for the tube list. There is no tube listed there that I didn't personally measure firsthand.
More practically, to the best of my knowledge at the time I compiled the tube list, Estes had yet to produce a BT-55 that was actually 3" long - the closest they had to 3" was the 030386 BT-55J (2.75", used in #1332 Sea Strike D, amongst others) and the 030392 BT-55 (3.25", used in #2176 Echostar, amongst others. Note that P/N 030392 used to be the P/N for the older BT-55V, 16.35", used in the original K-47 Cherokee-D, amongst others). But as suggested, perhaps someone could measure their #1902 Space Station Aquarius and confirm the length of the BT-55E.

I built THIS Space station Aquarius from a vintage #1902 kit a few years ago. I no longer have the model. The length of the fin can BT60 is 2.813" or the same length as the root edge of the faux solar panel fins. As for the payload BT55 length, perhaps you can extrapolate the length of it from the photo of my build.

Visually comparing the decal sheet of the black windows from JimZ to the photo of the finished payload in my last post, I would estimate the BT55 of the payload section is 2.25" long, so 2.1" might be correct. It's definitely NOT 3" long.

Thanks to all who responded. I'll take 2.1" to be the correct length. I had estimated 2.25 inches based on the published total length minus the length of the nose cone, transition and BT-50 tube.
