Great launch report as always, Bill !
Keep 'em coming.

One of these days I'm going to get some flights in. I have like 50+ unflown but built/finished .
The precious little flight time I have, I use to stay "current' as a competent R/C pilot.

Most excellent report. I am envious of all your opportunities to fly. It has been awhile since I have launched any rockets, the last time was December 2022! I do hope to fix that at NARAM-65 in a couple weeks.

It will be dry at the launch, so lots of preventative care needed to avoid dry, cracked skin. It must be so nice to have high humidity, leaving one with luxuriant, moist and supple skin.

I'm not even "current" as a competent rocketeer. Just prolific, when given the opportunity. And I'm good with that.

Someone is selling the Enerjet size Dactyl. Looks cool, but it's pricey, especially when this is the result of my first flight.

I have another opportunity to fly in the morning, assuming that there isn't a softball tourney up at the field. Not very humid at the moment, so whatever moistness and suppleness I picked up last week will have to suffice for a while.

As always, a fun read. Thanks for sharing!

I'm going to assume Lee is being facetious about it being nice to have the humidity.....

Bernard, definitely being facetious. :-)
We used travel with our kids to Florida after my sister, mother, and grandparents moved there.l back in the 80. We liked going at Thanksgiving. No humidity! And the beaches were mostly empty. Except for locals (I assume), wearing long pants, hat, jacket. We were running around in swimwear. I think I occasionally heard one say ?Northerners!? with a hint of disdain in their low whispers. :-)

I flew on Sunday, but ran into launcher issues that cut my day short after only two flights. Two weeks ago I soldiered on with my old Quest launcher and managed 8 flights before the battery stopped. Sunday I used my big Estes Pro Series II with six fresh c-cell Energizer batteries. I got two flights before it gave up. The first one was my recently repaired Semroc Snipe Hunter on a 1/2A6-2. It didn't leave the pad at zero, more like zero.785. The second flight was a Mach 10 clone on a B4-2. I had almost given up on it taking off and was letting up on my pressure on the button when it took off. I tried to fly a third rocket, but got nothing. Disappointing. I think the next time I go out it will be with an Electron Beam. If that doesn't work, I may go back to peeled Black Cat firecrackers.
