I was too late and didn’t get one. As for the Crossfire ISX: before the BBIII was re-introduced I would kit-bash the Crossfire into the BBIII (using Gordy’s decals.)

I was up early, and noticed it before the email was sent out - it wasn't interesting enough to pull the trigger - and it would just sit in a box for years. Had it been something like a limited edition chrome Quasar, I surely would've picked up a couple!

Agree. Not very interesting to me either.

Here are the first three I have seen so far on eBay:
Link1: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1858549202...ABk9SR56y5cDzYQ Link 2: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1258862210...k9SR4 DWv8DzYQ Link 3: https://www.ebay.com/itm/2043085427...c lp%3A2047675 I did not do an exhaustive search to see if there are others. Earl

I knew I should have gotten one when I saw the link. Clone build for me as those prices are stupid.

Yeah, those bids are pretty high…and the auctions aren’t even over yet. I do hope that the majority of the kits sold by Estes went just onesy-twosy to those who wanted one and not snapped up 10-20 at a time by a relatively small handful of folks who just want to ‘flip’ them on eBay. Earl

I think the design is kinda silly, so I'm happy to see fanbois massively overpaying for them. Just wish I'd thought to buy a bunch and flip them to make some APCP cash. But then, I never had any Star Wars action figures when I was a kid. I just built stuff.
I bought a couple Black Brant IIIs last year for about $8.99 each before AC Supply reduced their discount. They are better rockets than this, by far, IMO. Heck, I might finish one of them like this 65th Anniversary thing just to make a point. |

…and this one just went for $147. Wonder if Estes made 300 more and sold at $79.95 each if they would move like hotcakes? I don’t think any of the eBay ‘flips’ have gone for anything under $100…more like around $150 or so average. Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/145036525385?autorefresh=true Earl
