The Aerojet General decal is usually seen right over Aerobee Hi just like it is located on Dave's posted decal sheet. As for the loaded decal, all I can say is search the net for good pics if it isn't shown in one of the ROTW books.
I don't have the info anymore, but I corresponded with Peter Alway about the decals when I built my 1/2 scale back in the mid 90's.

Thanks. I have the version decal that rwhitman posted.
I looked at a few online photos to see if I could find a position for the LOADED decals. Nothing helpful, alas! Also wondering if I should use a narrower piece of red trim tape for the "alignment mark."

I have never seen "Loaded" markings on any Aerobee Hi. I've only seen them on solid propellant rockets, but I don't think this kit even has the solid propellant booster. "Aerojet General" should be in the same font as "Aerobee Hi" but smaller, and just above (as seen with the rocket on its side) the "Aerobee Hi"

Thanks, all.
I'm going to skip the "LOADED" decals. If I feel ambitious, I could make a more authentic company decal, but I think I'll use the included one as-is. I mean . . . I bought this kit 33 years ago! It's been painted for . . . ten years? About time it flies.

Sometimes when I built plastic model kits (the last I built wascoincidentally a vintage Revell Aerobee Hi on a trailer) I kind of take a similar philosphy. I'm not trying to make an accurate model, but an accurate reproduction of a period model. Sometimes I go for the most possible accuracy given the available parts. |

Think that is the some one I recently built. Most of the decals had gone bad, we salvaged what we could. Turned out OK.

That would have been mine. 1/2 scale EX L1000 and later EX M3000 power.

After my last entry above, I taped the corners of the Aerobee-Hi decal sheet to a cardboard sheet, and gave it a few coats of clear spray.
After a week, I carefully diced it up and applied the decals. Remarkably, just one broke up, and not so badly that I couldn't nudge the pieces together. I used a fine brush to paint over the "cracks." Not perfect, but good enough. Right fin in the attached photo. Right now I'm filling and smoothing the nose cone shoulder and the inside front of the body tube. I want a nice smooth mating surface. After that, I'll clear coat. Might matte coat the "aluminum" nose cone. I'm not sure about the parachute. The corners of the ripstop nylon parachute have a little hole you tie the shroud lines through. Seems like they might rip through.
