Nice Picture of Orville Carlisle
I just picked up a copy of the April 1958 issue of American Modeler because it had a great picture on the cover of Orville Carlisle launching a Rock-A-Chute. I'd never seen this photo before.
The article is by G. Harry Stine and is similar to his article in Popular Mechanics from 8 months earlier. Cover and article are attached below. Enjoy, Steve |

Very nice vintage pics. Looking at those old ads almost transports me back to the 3 vintage hobby shops I frequented in my youth. I can still smell the AeroGloss fumes from every time I walked in the door !
