I was in my local hobby shop yesterday, asking about when they could get me the rereleased Estes Nike Smoke kits (18mm & PSII). To my surprise they asked me if I wanted to preorder the new Estes Kerbal rocket also. WHAT????

I was hoping they'd do a cross-over like this.

A perfect tie-up between physical and virtual.

It seems Estes has also announced 3 new launch sets. See the attached image for the only info I have on the sets so far.

I mentioned this on Twitter & Mastodon, and heard back that Kerbal Space Program s is in a kind of limbo, development wise. Trouble with the design studio.

I hope that the program has a future.
