Free Rocketry Software and Web Services -- Discussions and Contributions
Let's get this party started. I'd like to see a list of freely-available software and web-based services for rocketry. Ideally, this thread should be long on listings, short on chatter; if you want to comment on or review a product listed here, please do so in another thread. It would not be inappropriate to post a link to the review threads here though.
I'll start by listing the software on my own site: Shroud Calculator and Template Generator http://rocketry.newcenturycomputers.net/shroudcalc.html Rocket Database http://rocketry.newcenturycomputers.net/database.html Centering Ring Template Generator http://rocketry.newcenturycomputers.net/cluster.html |

There are several good tools and calculators here:

This is a good thread so I added Rocketry to the title and made it a sticky.

So that explains the foreign substance all over my keyboard this morning... :) |
For the uber-lazy among us, it would be nice for a mod/admin to distill all provided links into the top post.

I'll let Craig do that since he's the mod for this area. ;) Actually, Solo is a whole site mod so he has the ability to do it as well. |

Good idea, and now that we have some links to work with, I'll start filtering and collating a list. One thing to note: "Top Post" can be either the first, or last, entry depending on how you view your messages. If your prefs display the messages oldest-first, then the "Top Post" is the oldest message. If your prefs display newest-first, then the "Top Post" is the last message. What I may do is create a new thread for the list, and keep this one for the discussions and any new link posts. ADDENDUM: Note the new thread title. |
As more links are located and posted, I'll divide them into related groups.

Thanks fellers. A new thread sounds like a good idea...top and bottom will be the same :)
