One astronaut, many different spacecraft

In 1968, Wally Schirra became the first to fly in three different spacecraft: Mercury, Gemini and Apollo. In 1983, John Young became the second with Gemini, Apollo and Space Shuttle. There are now many members of the three spacecraft club. Some credit John Young with four by including the Apollo Lunar Module. In 2025, two more will join the four spacecraft club: Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams with Space Shuttle, Soyuz, Starliner and Crew Dragon. Bill |
