The Estes Project Blue Bird Zero Flying Model Rocketry Outfit #1779 was issued in 1979. Notice the Estes 1979 Model Rocketry catalog included with the outfit (reference: https://www.ninfinger.org/rockets/c...9/79estcat.html). It also included the Estes RL-4 orange plastic Porta-Pad #2217, plus, the Estes FS-10 Solar Launch Controller #2300. Also notice, the single-piece blow molded white PNC-55AO nose cone was provided in this kit. One other unique feature of this outfit vs. the other previous starter kits in this thread, is that the flight sequence and engine pack were depicted on the outside bottom of the Estes Project Blue Bird Zero Flying Model Rocketry Outfit #1779 kit box.

Note: The Estes Blue Bird Zero Flying Model Rocket kit #1335 facecard shown in the last photo here was not included with the Estes Project Blue Bird Zero Flying Model Rocketry Outfit #1779. It is only shown here for reference. The Estes Blue Bird Zero Flying Model Rocket kit #1335 was actually issued in 1980, by itself, without the launch equipment and other extra literature that had been included in the Estes Project Blue Bird Zero Flying Model Rocketry Outfit #1779. Also note, the parts in the last photo shown had a white BT-55 body tube substituted by the owner and did not come standard with the stock outfit #1779.

Here are the Estes Project Blue Bird Zero Flying Model Rocketry Outfit #1779 instructions as promised. Although the Estes Blue Bird Zero Flying Model Rocket kit #1335 facecard was not included with the Estes Project Blue Bird Zero Flying Model Rocketry Outfit #1779, I have added a full view of the #1335 facecard here, again for reference purposes, which it did not appear until 1980, when the model rocket kit alone was issued.
